Collection: Giving Back Together Dinner
Benefiting JBJ Soul Kitchen College Campus locations!
In an effort to combat the growing issue of food insecurity among college students, Gourmet Dining, the Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation, and Rutgers University have partnered to address this critical challenge by opening a JBJ Soul Kitchen Community Restaurant on the Newark campus. This collaboration follows the success of the original Pay It Forward model at the first JBJ Soul Kitchen location, founded by Dorothea and Jon Bon Jovi in Red Bank, New Jersey, in 2011. Two years ago, this mission expanded to New Jersey City University, where another JBJ Soul Kitchen opened its doors.
Join us on Tuesday, March 25th, 2025, to celebrate the 5-year anniversary of the Rutgers Newark campus and the 2-year anniversary of the NJCU campus. This special event will focus on continuing our mission to address food insecurity by providing a nutritious three-course meal to students every time they dine at JBJ Soul Kitchen, regardless of their ability to pay.

Includes:
- A delicious 3-course meal (Appetizer, Entrée, Dessert)
- Open bar (beer and wine, 21+)
- One sheet of raffle tickets
- Pay It Forward – covering the cost of a student volunteering for their meal on campus
Schedule:
- 5:00 PM: Check-in/Registration
- 5:00 - 6:00 PM: Prize Basket Drop
- 6:00 PM: Dinner Begins

Raffle tickets will be available for in-person purchase, but we recommend pre-purchasing for the best deal. More details on raffle ticket sales and a full list of prizes will be shared soon. Winners will be announced live at the event!
